Every man has that one unforgettable woman that will haunt him until his final day; the girl that got away. Allie detested television, vanilla ice cream, and missionary. She explored the depths of her sexuality; while I discovered the heights of my pain. My muse had a nickname. I called her Devil Girl. I write these words to ease my sorrows. My name is Andrew.
This is our story.
the moving train rocked gently
Devil Girl moved back and forth
against the groin that pressed her bottom
causing a smile on construction workers face
I had enough of watching
muscle man and my Allie
do the subterranean lambada
the train pulled into the station
perfect time to move toward them
the doors opened
an elderly woman boarded
I slowly helped her to the nearest seat
my gaze returned to Allie
she was gone
my eyes darted from left to right
pushed through the crowded subway car
where could she be
the train door shut
my heart resembled jungle drums
I glanced out the window
there she was
talking to the construction brute
smiling at his words
nodding as he spoke
her skirt lifting in the air
the train pulled out of the station
into the dark tunnelÂ
You hurt me Devil Girl
You know the drill; to be continued.
I am not normally a violent person, but if I could reach through this computer screen right now, I would slap you across the face. How could you leave me wanting like this for another week? REALLY!? Are you trying to drive me insane, because if you are, it’s working?! DAMN!!!

Thanks for stopping by Meg. My daughter is driving my crazy. Feel like I’m back in college. She has 4 reports (3 ten pages long) due and 5 finals next week. And her mac died. I am taking on her 10 page report on the Great Depression. A bit stressed today. Hope you are well. What do you suggest I read next on your blog?

Wow sounds like you have plenty to read! My Sunday Song Lyric page features short stories inspired by songs. I’m so thrilled and honored that you’re enjoying my blog! Hope your weekend isn’t too stressful!

Meg, that will be my next section to review. Yeah, I really love following writers. And I relate well to your blog. Half way done with the project. Everything my daughter has done for the class has been A. I don’t want to be the weak link that drops her final grade from A status. Don’t know who gave her the impression I write. lol Have a good one.

So…now I am wondering if I would have chosen to be this “Devil Girl” or if I am satisfied with having been an innocent, inexperienced fool. I’ll keep wondering for a few days.

I hate to guess future follow up stories, however, I do believe you mentioned an elderly lady receiving assistance from this young gent to an empty seat…. hey, just because elderly women may have cataracts doesn’t mean they’re completely blind! 😀

lol He should sit and listen to her wisdom. He may save himself some grief. Thanks.

Nope.Buried her 30 years ago.

Now I feel like a tactless idiot. Is it even worse if I say she will be turning in her grave…:)
On a serious note, condolences on losing your mother. They are always with us in spirit so remember that when you are writing your dirty stuff!

Don’t feel that way. Devil Girl wasn’t the kind of girl to take home to mom. No doubt Mom was spinning while I was dating that crazy girl. She passed 30 years ago. LOL Yeah, well if she is with me in spirit when I write, she must still be turning over in her grave. lol Have a good one. Smile
