Pretty Girl Unloved

Pretty Girl Unloved

She was like the last leaf on a dying tree
Hanging from a barren branch
Too frightened to be free
Unloving winds made her rock and sway
Disconnected from her twig
She was forever castaway

Unwanted and unnoticed she fell in dirt
She remained all alone there
With no one to cure her hurt
Dying in shadows with no the sun above
She lay in the cold forever
Pretty girl unloved

                  1. Good! I’m working on something completely different right now. I’m a little scared to attempt something new, but the worst that could happen is that it sucks. So, no big loss right? Just promise me that if you hate it, you’ll still love me and my other posts. šŸ˜ƒ

  1. Made me think of my own mortality. I kept telling my husband that I’d want to die first so he can be there with me. He then said, “Don’t you wanna celebrate after when I die first? You can shop all the time without me making a face.”

  2. My second favourite in all your poetry so far, sad but true, once castaway from their twig, there is nothing but cold harsh ground and no sun above, brilliant poem. Oh and first one was that poem on hunger and malnourished dying kids. I forgot the title, my bad. sorry šŸ˜¦

  3. Because beauty is such an admirable quality, it can (sometimes) be hindering. The beautiful man or woman doesn’t really have to gain any other skills because they have already “mastered” something. So while the beauties are comfortable just staying at their current status, everyone is learning how to move forward – leaving the beauties behind.

Kinda random, but that’s what came to mind when I read this. šŸ™‚

    Great post!

  5. An unusual of yours, with sadness that envelops the reader while the senses see this beauty dry and decompose in front of our eyes.
The first stanza is my favorite one!

      1. i try to u dt understanding as i can do.in ancient age a greek princ was most handsome.he thought dt he was only one very very smart n beautiful guy on whole world.often he had to see his own face in mirror or pounds n Äŗakes water .mostly beautiful girls liked ,wanted him n fell down in his love.bt dt prince named narcious ignored all those girls.one day ,a most beautiful girl had angerd on him n cursed dt nobody would liked n loved him forever.he would be alone forever also after his death n his rebirth.it is said dt after death he had taken rebirth as a very beutiful flower named narcious.dis narcious calls as flower of Nargis in india.dis flower blossems secluded n haunted forest farest from city or village.any lost wanderer may reach there n see dt flower nargis then he attrect n adore dt flower becuase its beauty. dis flower is most beautiful bt has no fragrance coz of curse.its beutiness forces to fall down in it love.so dis is called dt dis flower is helpless to get somebody’s love n has to weep on its lonelyness.ur blog”pretty girl unloved” reminds me dt cursed flower.plz try to understand what is said by me because my english’s knowledge is not good.if u have understood plz reply me.i think dt beauty has not any value without love.
