Caress

For quite some time I have followed a gift writer, Sarah Doughty at her wonderful blog called Heartstring Eulogies. She has written many tiny pieces bursting with meaning. Whenever you have a chance drop by and read her work.

Sarah encouraged me to try to write a few myself. Here is my first, thanks to Sarah.

touched his skin
Her words
caressed his soul

  1. I love Sarah! ♥ Her blog is awesome… I look forward to her posts every day. I think you’ve done a great job delivering your message with few words. There’s quite a lot of emotion — it’s lovely.

Also… your wife is beautiful… and I am in love with her skirt. I want it!

    1. Smiling. Her blog is awesome. I never miss a post. I tried to do a piece in her style, short on words but full of emotion. Thanks from my wife. Sorry, but she and I alternate with that skirt. It’s my turn this weekend. Thanks for reading.

  3. You did well for your first poem. You should write more of these on your Twitter account. I followed Sarah on Twitter, but unfortunately never got a follow back so I unfollowed her because she couldn’t see my comments. I follow her her here. Her post are amazing. And so are yours. Smiles.

    1. Smiling. Thank you. Yeah, I want to add more to my twitter, just haven’t had the time since I’m being pulled in so many directions. Need to clone myself. Sarah is a wonderful writer.
And again thanks. You are so supportive. Have a good one. Playing hookey, again?

                1. Scarlett, I asked if you were playing hookie. I glanced at a post from yesterdsay, haven’t had a chance to read it in its entirety. Up North hookie means you felt lazy or just wanted to relax/rest. I had no idea you were in pain. I’m so sorry. Rest up. Be well. Take pain killers. Get better soon.

                    1. Chimp pouting. Damn and I give good massages, too. You know I am the same way with pain killers. I just deal with it. The pan killers for my back had so many bad side affects I gave up on them. Rest, keep the knee up, and be well. Enjoy the Voice tonight.
