With Father’s Day nearing and no baby on the way, Allie expressed her sadness and desire to give me a son (especially since I am the last of the family).  I already have a daughter, but I dream of Allie experiencing motherhood. Honestly, I can’t help but wonder what our love could create.

Me, I have a thing for little girls. These are my words for my Isabella.

Precious Isabella

Precious Isabella
what I would give
to hear your first cry
my heart will fill
with pride and joy
which no one can deny

Lovely Isabella
I wish you were here
With a toothless smile
on the floor we’ll drink
from your tea set as we
pretend for a little while

Little Isabella
Please come to us
You are our missing link
We can go shopping
to buy you pretty dresses
with satin bows of pink

Precious Isabella
how can one miss a baby
perhaps never meant to be
leave that up to your
foolish dad
good old sentimental me

  6. Oh my💕💕💕 your words made me weep happy tears.. For a love you both wish to live in.. My hubby & I tried for years and I dreamed of our babes to be.. We did finally end up with 4.. 2 boys 2 girls
    So you never know

    1. Thanks for the kind words amd wishes, and the inspiring message. We have been through so much, we don’t give up hope. We are prepared in case it never happens. We will adopt. I had a great Father’s Day. Thank you for all of your wonderful support.

        1. Thank you so much. After everything we have been through, we won’t quit now. Yes, sharing and teaxching love to a baby will be wonderful. We are planning on relocating in 2017 or 2018. After we purchase a new home, we will begin the process of adopting (even if Isabella already graces us with her presence).

  20. Isabella !! What a cutey pie name.

    I too Adore babies and wish I could conceive another baby. A little baby doll. I would dress her up with Frills and bright colors. I would kiss her soft cotton cheeks a million times a day. I would carry her in my arms and hug her tight. I would give her a bath in rose petals and milk.

    God, Thank You for making Babies. But why do they have to grow up so soon ?
