Yeah, I haven’t been inspired lately. I’ve been writing for 3 years and was hoping the trip to NY would inspire me and it did but limitingly so. I have one prepared for Monday…a short story but hope it’s not too long. I know bloggers have short attention spans.
⚘ Can you teach a class for men in how to be romantic? I think they could learn from you! 🙂 This is an amazing and mysterious poem. It is very easy to start wondering about the woman. Who she is and what the story is behind these two people. You got mad skills, bro’ ! (Lol). 🙂 💙
Glad you liked the compliment, we all need those from time to time. 🙂 Ha ha, Shorty! I guess I see movies and read blogs, where I learn a lot of different expressions. 🙂
I wasn’t sure if to call you Shorty or Boo. I selected Shorty since it starts with S. Living in NY you hear this all day long. As for compliments; well the lady in the photo reaching for the sea, well she has spectacular hair. Pass that on to her please.
That’s a very lovely but also a very sad poem. Luckily, I don’t have to worry because I know from your other posts that your actual situation is a much happier one, thank goodness! 😀
I love the way you wrote this, Drew! Great image to capture with the sun in the woman’s hand. If you took it, amazing! If you found it, so wise to use it! 🙂 ❤
This…makes me go back in time…its like am there. These type of writings connect with many folks in many ways, and that’s just such a great strength. We all have lovers and/or friends we miss one way or another, and its always complex in so many ways. Anyways, thanks for sharing your thoughts/emotions.
That is very powerful! And what an apt picture to go with it!
