Pretty Girl Unloved
She was the last leaf on a dying tree
Hanging from a barren branch
Too frightened to be free
Unloving winds made her rock and sway
Disconnected from her twig
She was forever castaway
Unwanted and unnoticed she fell in dirt
She remained all alone there
With no one to cure her hurt
Dying in shadows with no sun above
She lay in the cold forever
Pretty girl unloved
Due to my crazy week this was another reblog. Will be catching up with blogs and comments today. Expect to get back to my regular schedule next week.
Have a great weekend. Be happy. Be well.
Such a jolt to the heart your beautiful words create

This is too relatable! I love how you wrote it all out though 😊 and that’s great you reblogged this because I missed it before. You have a way with words that really connects readers to your work 😊😊

Beautiful, sad and evocative.. this poem has made me want to write! I’ve written one which is sorta similar called “shadow girl,” which I will post once I’ve worked out all the different settings on wordpress. I’m still struggling to make sense of it atm! Thanks a lot for following btw 🙂

The sad emotion I felt, but it brought admiration after I read it. This means the writer behind the poem is connected to his heart.

Touching. I like the picture with you words. Do you create the images that go with your pieces? They are so fitting.
