The Woman Of My Dreams

The Woman Of My Dreams

The Woman Of My Dreams

.

The woman of my dreams
Is a puzzle to be solved
For she can slowly undress me
As she buttons up my shirt

When Baby gives the cold shoulder
She expects it to be kissed
Then she’ll push me onto her pedestal
To get cozy in my lap

The woman of my dreams
A delicate knot to be unraveled
She asks me to tie her to the bed
Yet it is I who becomes all tangled

Sweetie sets out my suit and tie
As I prepare for a fancy dinner
Then wears her sexiest lingerie
Cause she’s decided we’re eating in

Baby swears that I am so unique

Even as she perfectly mimics me
She is the woman of my dreams and I
The man who never lets her sleep.

                    1. I couldn’t come back last night. But I’m here now and it’s going to feel like a looooooong time until you appear (if you
do) although it’s 2:45 am where you are and you’re definitely dreaming now…

                    2. Faceless? How very intriguing, Mr. Lonely Author
Can I just interject here, that you should be very proud of me for not going “fucking hell it was painful without your words around here.”

                      I bet it does.
I woke up several times last night.

                    3. Okay…so I’ve asked you this once already and you ignored me and hurt my feelings…kind of.

Did you listen to the song I emailed you?

I’ve had many reactions to my singing but … nothing?
                      That’s a first.

                    4. Oookaaay….that actually makes sense. I think I forgot. My mind went all over the place.
There I was thinking a) you didn’t want to email me and b.) My Spanish accent in the song was so Greek you didn’t want to comment on it lol.

                    5. I had to do both just because I was teaching English as a second language so the grammar part was necessary but I hated teaching it. So soul sucking. But I have a degree in English literature, film and drama

                    6. Actually…I was pretty good. Quite the little talent…At university I did a lot of acting , some starring roles, and spent all my time with the drama society . Which is where I had my first kiss with a girl, lol

                    7. Haha! I am a bit yes.

To be honest, I did nothing with a girl at uni except for drunken kisses. Oh no wait, I did. I wrote about it.

Speaking of…I am SO SHOCKED you haven’t brought up the whole women thing…

      1. I’m sorry…I’ll choose another. Usually I just scroll down down down and land on a post.

I never want to remind you of her.

In fact, I think my purpose is the opposite of that
