bubbles of love

I would like to dedicate this to my muse, if I had one, but I don’t.  So, I won’t.   (Wink Wink)

bubbles of love

Soaking in an effervescent tub
of your warm poetry
tiny inspirations
burst all around me
Sparkling suds of passion
cleanse my soul
of the unsightly stains
of dirty lovers
and tainted memories
For you are the nymphet
of my passions
a sensual siren of sonnets
The warm bath
that never goes cold
Now I find myself
submerged in your verses
blissfully drowning
in the fountain
of your never ending
bubbles of love

  1. You know if you’re not careful, your imaginary Muse and her mysterious and completely fictional allure will start getting more attention than you around here, Mr Lonely Author.

Did I mention I like this poem? Can’t recall now…
    Well I don’t like it.

    I heart it.

    Mmmm…bubbles.

  2. Lovely poem here friend. I enjoyed reading it. You do not have a muse? Interesting! How about you let God be your muse. God loves you and he is really excited for you. God is the person who is there for us when there is no one else there for us. His mercies are plenty and there is joy in being in his presence. We need to learn to let ourselves experience his love. His love is all around us, do not miss out on it. Get to know him today.

    1. My not having a muse has been a long running joke between myself and my followers. There is someone special who inspires me.

There are two things that I try to avoid on my blog, discussing politics and religion. They are sensitive subjects that are
not always appreciated in today’s enviornment. As for me, I have long been a believer in God. He has been my inspiration,
guide, and loyal friend during good times and bad. There is one consistent message on my blog – love (in all of its beautiful
forms). This is the message I have learned from him and I convey to all of my friends and followers, and I have successfully
done it without preaching a single word.

I assure you I am well versed in the Lord and his words. Thanks for the links.

Thank you for your kind message. God bless.

  4. It’s fair to say our bubble metaphors are very different. πŸ˜‰ I remembered this as I read it. I enjoyed it just as much the first time round. Thank you for your great love poetry.
