cemetery of lovers past
A shadow exhales
Her breath of life
is a white mist
that lingers like cumulus clouds
on a windless day
a bell tolls
over a broken carcass
of rigor mortis memories
words begin to rain
a cleansing rebirth
born of poetry
the past is buried
the dead long forgotten
a curse lifted
like a holy veil
letting in the light
a heart gasps
a new moon glows
an angel departs
she forever remains a mystery
Wow, this is very impressive.

Beautiful words of a poetic Spector never dies, but they tend to float around like clouds and rain the reminding words ever so often. Watering the seed and sprouting the flower called the Perambulating Petal. Sprouting in the grave where we must move on and reincarnate leaving the voices behind but not forgotten. Burying the past only to grow in the present. Beautiful words Drew.🌹🌹

Roy, your comments were more beautiful than my poem. I am overwhelmed by the beauty of your comments. You are so inspired
your comments are deep and poetic. I see Ms Sparkles is doing a great job.
I imagine you ordering food at a restaurant in such a poetic way……a tender steak with a side of the greenest broccoli
nuctured by the mother Earth.
Seriously, thank you for this gorgeous comment. Humbled and happy. Thank you.

It’s my pleasure my friend Drew and your words are so humbling. Comments spawn from beautiful post and you create those from start to finish. And yes, Ms Sparkling is doing wonders with me as she is amazing, but she’ll give me more credit than I deserve😉.
That ordering at a restaurant is classic my friend and you made that sound sooo elegant and tasty😂😂, I almost felt like commenting on that…haha!! You are such a wonderful person to us both and we love your words you produce as they are a work of art!🌹🌹

I have two words to describe this poem: beautiful and stunning. I loved every single line, especially, these: “a curse lifted like a holy veil
letting in the light”
It makes me think of darkness fleeing from the presence of light.

First, I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy losing a parent. I hope he rests in peace and I hope
you soul can recover from the pain. May he always reside in a special corner of your heart where he will

“…but i’d Like to be a mystery,” – answered first in the line.
“There’s always tomorrow…” – added not-so-lonely author, slowly approaching his muse in red.
P.S. u know what am talking about…😂😂 the first part – under muse poem

Now, I am not sure if I prefer my muse in red or naked. What is a Lonely Author to do?
