To hold such love within you that it engulfs you to where you can find the power to hold on to the light of life to see someone for the last time before turning the lights out. The greatest gift of strength, love, and unimaginable willpower. Your last verse was such an impact poetic statement reminding me of Dylan’s “Fight against the dying light”, yours having such beauty to it my friend.

I’m not even sure that kind of “love” exists. Perhaps fleetingly, when two people first meet with powerful electricity between them. But, to have that connection for years on end, that’s debatable. Hmmmm …

I love the last four lines, the image of someone seeing nothing but the light of the one they love before they die (that was my interpretation anyway) seems like a sad, but peaceful way to die.

This is sweet and inspiring. I’m just back from my recreational outing. It was so unsafe out there that I had to be extra careful. Actually, I couldn’t find any safe place to run or to hide. Those beautiful ladies, I can’t say how many times I fell in love. Every corner was unsafe. But then, tragedy struck when I was leaving the beautiful citiy flooded with international beauties, I will never see them again. And then I thought of you my friend, thelovelyauthor. 🙂
