the venom of her poetry

Feeling stronger everyday. My Latin blood is starting to heat up…..

the venom of her poetry

sick in love
since she fed me
poetry from her breast
after a fever of words
i have fallen for her

beads of sweat
form on trembling flesh
delivered by the poison
of her verse

she caused my malady
yet she is the cure
my illness, my antidote
she infected me
with the venom of her poetry

  1. Okay, so I’m cheating again because I was too late to get in on the comments on your recent post. So I’m sneaking in on this one!

God’s Hammock, I love that. A rotating floor though? Never known anything like that before, that’s impressive. Has it ever glitched out like in a horror film, wildly spinning out of control at 30MPH?

Aww little Jacob has the sweetest face. Huskies really are special.

Lovely photo at Axel’s christening. I’m curious as to the baptism. Can’t you give us a clue? Don’t forget to write about it next week!

I’m with you on the cock fighting. Absolute no-no.

Naked lady bookends, they’re actually more artsy than smutty. I had an ‘erection man’ bottle stopper that I think you would have appreciated. I love the little typewriter pot, so funky. I’m a sucker for novelty like that.

Keep being a good patient for your moustachioed nurse.
    Caz xx

    1. Caz, the food is really great. I love that restaurant. Pricey but, hey life is short.

I will be writingabout the baptism.

I’ll pass on the bottle opener. LOL
Bless you Caz. Thanks for the laugh. Laughter is the cure. Hugs.

      1. Thank you so much Andrew! 🙂 I am safe and healthy here and I hope you are too. I am really hoping this self isolation ends soon so I can visit everyone. Hope you are ok there and it’s always a pleasure hearing from you. Stay well my friend ❤ xx

        & you’re always welcome.

I’m doing well, amidst all this chaos going on right now. Just taking it one day at a time.
        How are you doing?

  3. Speaking of venom and poetry bring to mind a coronavirus post by a poem bum friend of mine: “This is the God of the Old Testament that I missed. Welcome back, [expletive], [expletive].” Not as romantic as your example, but it’s got venom!
