  2. First followers who keep in touch holds a special spot in my heart. ❤ I could say a couple of things about her drawing but it's just a sketch and you can already see how much she adores you. I sometimes have a hard time understanding Aruna (language barrier?) but she's overall a sweet girl 🙂

    1. My five year blog anniversary is coming up in September, and she was there almost from the start. Very very loyal too. When I am not blogging she is always checking in on me to make sure I am okay.

      I said drawing, but you are right. Her sketch was a beautiful gesture of which I am very grateful.

        Wow, 5 years. You really keep it up. I’ve been blogging for over 10 years, but not in the same address. I’m like a homeless animal that keeps changing home. I’ll be celebrating my second year of return to WordPress in November. 🙂

          Well, almost five years. But there was a two year blog break when I had 2 surgeries on my right eye. So it is five years, but only three actually blogging.

          We need to celebrate it with a special post.

      Yes, under a palm tree editing a poem I completed this morning, eating a mango and enjoying the warm ocean breeze.

      This will be my last weekend here. So, I plan on doing more of the very same. Staying inspired.

        1. Your talking about on your blog? No I didn’t receive a reply notification. WordPress had a day or two failing to provide notifications for replies. I will check it out.

          That is your image of paradise. I guess we have that in common. Nice to know.

          Sad about going home. Not at all. I am homesick. This week (April 21st) made one year since I bought my car and moved into my Orlando apartment. Seriously, I am so homesick.

          Also, I have a big hurdle coming up and I am ready and anxious to face it. A good friend keeps reminding me I am a fighter. I want to prove her right.

            1. Women need to be more independent. Not reliant on a man to support themselves or make themselves happy. Learning to have self love and confidence is the key. No one should ever think that they ned another person to strive or be happy. Happiness comes form inside of oneself.

        You remembered my flight home! Yes, this coming Friday. Although the Presidene here has asked his Congress
        to extend the state of emergency, but it is believed this will not stop the reopening of airports.
