Recently purchased two 100 foot extension cords. This poem and every poem scheduled to post in April, were written under a palm tree.

insomnia

my restless heart can’t sleep
ever since she soaked my dreams
like a warm summer shower
of fireflies and fantasies
cascading radiance onto my soul
splashing away the darkness
causing my moons to shine
every sunrise to glow
my life is one sleepy blur
sleep or reality
i don’t know
just let me die of insomnia
so i continue dreaming of her

  5. Insomnia can be both a blessing and a curse. Your mind can take you on the most romantic and most heartbreaking scenarios.         1. Fo months my blood pressure was over 200 and I was i danger of a stroke.
          Well, now, I am the complete opposite. My blood pressure has been
          dangerously low. SUffering from heavy dizziness.
          I rest and take plenty of blogging breaks.
          So I am behind responding to comments and blog reading.

          I am somewhat happy and resting. I guess that is what counts.
          I fly back home next week on Friday, May 1st.
          Looking forward to it.

I don’t know what consists of this beauty, save said beauty, you refer to as “her” but if it goes a millimeter neath the present surface, of that which is projected in the afore imagery of “Dream A Little Dream”, understandably to die for is not to be ignored. Though if with the words you offer are at stake, I’d rather you postponed such drastic measure, at least until I’ve gone ahead of you (and I ain’t ready yet) to arrange comfortable writing facilities in that dream’s charming presence. What say ye, my worthy wordsmith friend? Take care, cause a talent like yours is truly worth saving!
