like the wind

So happy to finally say, “home sweet home.”

We are keeping it light today….

like the wind

you know me
i am the mystery of a secret
the bad boy you recognize
but have never seen
the lover who comes and goes
through your hair
disrupting your sanity
i am an island breeze
caressing your shivering skin
blowing through your heart
ever so gently
like the wind

My heart procedure is in 10 days. This will be my last open comments post, so I can catch up to messages and my blog reading.

Everyone that knows me knows one of my all time favorites…….Ol’ Blue Eyes.

              1. Perhaps somewhere that did reflect on your posts, no wonder it was so worrisome when your flight was repeatedly cancelled. One thing I’m glad about is that you found the strength to write about it. Writing about such things helps release their hold on us, they say… I truly hope and pray you feel better.

  11. Take care. I wish you well,
6 years ago I was at a stage of triple bypass with 10% pumping rate.
Elongated lungs had hit the strongest muscle = Heart so badly it had gone into pieces.
It was on a Valentines Day I was admitted to ICCU and as I came alive, Docs told me this.
But surgical procedures not being feasible, I was told to go on strict diet, medical management and walks which need to go up periodically.
It kept me alive. Strongest support was from family and the Doctors became friends.
The CAD is a thing of past and I now share my experience at Angioplasty clubs run by my doc to motivate, inspire and cheer up.
Hope this uplifts your spirit and you come back with great vigoour, rigor and stamina after rest and recuperation period – even more creative and sharing freely with your audience which loves to read you.
    Warm regards. Jay

Mmm…the imagery in this one…so sensual, so very you beach boy! πŸ˜€ I can see you as the bad boy, “the lover who comes and goes through your hair disrupting your sanity…” The picture was well chosen for this, because I can see a man standing behind the woman, his breath like “the island breeze caressing her shivering skin.” her eyes closed as she is trembling awaiting his touch. That beautiful moment of anticipation where every nerve and every fiber of your body is alive with fire. Oh yes…this was a luscious, decadent piece of poetry. I feel like I need some chocolate now. Haha! Hugs and kisses my dear friend xoxoxo
