drunk on life

drunk on life

After a day in a Dominican hospital celebrating my Godson’s birth, I stopped for a mojito on my way home. That was on Oct 29th, 2019.

I never take photos of my drink, but it was a special occasion. Little did I know it was to be my last drink.

I returned to Florida in November 2019, not knowing I would begin the most challenging year of my life. Health, heart, and mortality consumed my thoughts the past twelve months.

Afraid of death, I totally stopped living.

Until this current vacation.

Apologies for my absence. I will be returning to blogging this week.

My last seven weeks have been filled with the hypnotic island music, sandy white beaches, and so many beautiful women.

Feeling healthy and happy.

I haven’t had a single drink, but I have been drunk on life…..

  1. My dear,
True, this is a year like no other. We are living on the Star Ship Enterprise, speeding away on warp 4.
So, I just want to say….love…. 💜 lasts

Mojitas are fun, but so is the sun. So happy you are still soaking it up!

  3. Thought of you off and on and checked to see no new posts… Guess i left it too long because i had the simply delightful task of catching up! I’m glad to hear you are well and healing but also feeling like yourself again… It would be cruel to deprive us of you for too long!
