Showing all the symptoms of Covid

Sorry, for the unexpected absence from blogworld.

Since Friday night I have been showing all the symptoms of Covid (fever, muscular pain, burning eyes, some shortness of breath, and severe chills). And they have become progessively worse.

Already canceled my two MD appointments for this week. Waiting to hear back from my doctors.

Not sure when I will return to blogging,

Stay safe. Be well.

a sad song

now, the doors that once kept people out
are the barriers that locks me in
now, that we are virtually connected
i find no connections at all
there is the stranger i once ignored
i greet him with a masked hello
does he wonder what happened to the routine
we took granted for so long
now that my watch crawls in ferocious silence
hope breathes freely inside these walls
while i listen to my creaking rocking chair
croon a sad song

With my flight home only two days away, my buddy decided to take me on a picnic by this waterfall today. He brought along his sister and three girlfriends.

No one was prepared with swim trunks or bathing suit, but a little impromptu dip never hurt anyone.

Upon returning to the hut, we were stunned with the news, the government had decided to include the shutting down of all airports with the 17 day extension of the state of emergency.

I called all four major airlines, they cancelled all flights until June 1st.

Again, my heart surgery will remain on hold.

Wishing everyone all the best.

Be flexible. ❤️
