Silence Screamed Your Name

Earlier today, I woke up searching for a good morning message from my Baby.  When I found none, I wrote her a few separate messages.  Hours passed with no reply. This little thing was born during those moments of worry.

Silence Screamed Your Name

,

Today I awoke

when silence screamed your name.

Now, I lay here in fear

of never having you,

and distraught that

tomorrow

silence may

do the same.

.

Please, don’t do that to me again Baby.

we are one

Sexy lovers in bedroom

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming (yes you guessed it) – LOVE.

we are one

.

Please don’t ask me what are we
For the tugging of your heart is my gravity
You are gentle wind chimes ringing in my soul
as our broken pieces join to make us whole

You are the raging percussion inside my chest
I am the ebb and flow of your warm breast
We are the scorching heat of a solar flare
a refreshing breeze running through your hair

We are twin flames burning in sweet harmony
illuminating together cause we fit so perfectly
We are summer just before autumn has begun
My love we are and always will be one.

Misplaced Laughter and Broken Dreams

Misplaced Laughter and Broken Dreams

.

After a night of fighting demons

she awakens to a lonesome world of

misplaced laughter and broken dreams.

.

A melancholy stranger who has forgotten

how to live occupies her fractured mirror,

an unwanted spirit in a reoccurring theme.

.

She inhales oxygen and exhales pain as she

lives her lonely life with a nostalgic longing

to rediscover the happy girl she used to be.

She has a PhD in Japanese studies and is proficient in six languages. I can go on and on about her wonderful talents, but I will just add this; Nandita is the best friend a person could ever have.

Formerly posting at the blog named Manan Unleashed, she now blogs on a delightful page called A Tangle Of Weeds. Should you want to read Nandita’s poetry you can find her here:

(Yes, I have unsuccessfully tried to untangle her weeds).

she is love

she is love

She is a goddess

reigning over poetry and prose.

The divinity of her words

written by a siren so sublime,

inspires heaven and earth

my body and soul.

She is all of that,

and so much more.

Befitting of one description,

she is love.

Huddled Inside My Soul

I-Feel-Lonely

Huddled Inside My Soul

Come to me

On your darkest day.

as shadows consume your light,

as tears douse the overwhelming fires

choking you in their solitary smoke.

Come to me

when your heart falls into the abyss

drowning in dark seas of solitude,

in a world eclipsed by loneliness.

Come to me

I can make you whole,

basking in my light,

once you are

huddled inside my soul.

The Beautiful Redhead

The Beautiful Redhead

She wore her red hair

like a fragrance by Chanel.

An elegant tapestry of

silky curls and waves.

The ebb and flow of her locks

calming like a starry night.

If she only knew

what I would give

to caress her hair tonight.

The Way Things Used To Be

Our home has become as lonely

as the last leaf on a dying tree

laughter no longer reverberates against walls

we consummated with our love

old arguments replay themselves endlessly

like a scratched record avoiding the next beat

the eerie shadows of who we once were

turn us into restless spirits of the night

as we haunt ourselves with stained memories of

the way things used to be
