What Ever Happened to The Lonely Author

What Ever Happened to The Lonely Author

Great question.

Hello, everyone. Hope all of you are well.

Yesterday (Feb 3) was my six month anniversary of my heart surgery.

I am feeling wonderful; eating healthy, alccohol-free (yes, very boring), and getting plenty of exercise. My doctor has given me the green light to lead a normal life, (well, if he really knew me he would know that is impossible).

Yes, I am back, but in a very different way. I will tell you more about that next week. Still positive. Still cherishing every moment. And still very single.

Thanks you for your support.

I hope your day is full of sunshine, smiles, and love.

❤️

the greatest journey

the greatest journey

Flying back home to Florida today.

It has been a memorable trip with plenty of laughs with good friends, good food, and even some romance.

Yet, as good a trip as it has been, sometimes, the greatest journey is the one we make inside our hearts……I rediscovered life and myself.

Will be back blogging on Tuesday. We reply to all and get back into the blogging thing.

Be well.

Hope you made your own great journey. Safe travels.

drunk on life

drunk on life

After a day in a Dominican hospital celebrating my Godson’s birth, I stopped for a mojito on my way home. That was on Oct 29th, 2019.

I never take photos of my drink, but it was a special occasion. Little did I know it was to be my last drink.

I returned to Florida in November 2019, not knowing I would begin the most challenging year of my life. Health, heart, and mortality consumed my thoughts the past twelve months.

Afraid of death, I totally stopped living.

Until this current vacation.

Apologies for my absence. I will be returning to blogging this week.

My last seven weeks have been filled with the hypnotic island music, sandy white beaches, and so many beautiful women.

Feeling healthy and happy.

I haven’t had a single drink, but I have been drunk on life…..

taking my recovery to the beach

taking my recovery to the beach

Feeling stronger and ready to take my recovery to the next level.

As all my close friends know, nothing makes me happier than walks on the beach.

Flying out to the Dominican Republic today. On the island, I have my little love hut, and the support group I need (cooks, housekeeper, friends) to concentrate on getting stronger and building stamina.

It should also give me time to get back to serious writing, blogging, and poetry.

Hope all are well.

We will be in touch soon.

Happy blogging.

5 year anniversary

5 year anniversary

So, who misses their 5 year anniversary? This lonely boob, of course.

I am so caught up on my daily exercise, diet routine, and recovery, I completely missed my anniversary this past Monday (Sept 21st).

My blog has evolved over the years, from novel writing and humor to love, poetry, and sharing my fascination of women.

Will this blog keep evolving? Why are you asking me? How should I know?

Expect more poetry, beaches, and love for women. Hey, that is what I do! I am a leaf gliding on the wind, unsure where I am heading………

Perhaps, it will lead me straight to you.

Smooches people.

Lucifer

Lucifer

I have never been one for watching much TV, but this recovery sent me to the couch (where Alexa and my remote control became my best friends).

Caught a glimpse of this original series from Netflix called Lucifer.

Without giving anything away, the series is about the Devil (bored with his responsibilites in hell) decides to spend some time on Earth, where he falls for a beautiful Detective named Chloe Decker.

Like any great book or movie, what makes this fun series so entertaining is a great character. Portrayed by British actor Tom Ellis, Lucifer is a playful, flirty, woman loving gent with a habit of bad jokes and getting himself into trouble.

Sounds like anyone you know?

Lucifer has helped my smile through the pain, and even had me dreaming of post recovery flirting.

Just the thought has me feeling a litle devilish…..
