In February I announced I would be blogging less and for the most part, I have taken the weekends off. Yet, I still do not have enough time to work on my queries to literary agents, other writing projects, and life.
Lonely Authot doesn’t need to research Chimpopedia to know it is time to make further cuts in my blogging time. I will still be reading blog posts, but not on a daily basis (and definitely not on weekends). Should anyone have a post they really want me to read or comment on, please feel free to ping me. (Yeah, I like being pinged baby).
I would like to thank my good friend Diane LadiesWhoLunchReviews . She has sent me so many links to writing contests and other potential suitors for my writing. Whenever you get the chance, stop by her blog. She is a kind hearted person who will always put a smile on your face.
My next post will be on Tuesday. I am thinking of posting 3 times a week (between Tuesday and Friday).
Should you need to reach me write to thelonelyauthorblog@gmail.com. I will try to be much quicker with my response times. I currently have several outstanding emails I must respond to.
You can also reach me at twitter @LonelyAuthorNY
Have a wonderful weekend.
Keep smiling.
Keep writing.
Of course, I wish you well. Stop by when you remember, when you have a moment.
All the best to you, Andrew. You’re gonna make it.

I am always in awe of people who can blog every day. I put up one weekly post and if I get an award or something else I will do that once a week. I just don’t have the creative juices to post every day. I read posts every day but I can’t do it, kudos to you for going for 3 times a week.

I used to blog 6 days a week. Then, I cut out weekends. The creating posts is easy for me. It is the keeping up with blogs that consumes my time. I need to get back to my original goals, becoming a published writer & selling my screenplays. By cutting out tow additional days of blogging I will have more time for my projects and my wife. Thanks for stopping by to read and comment.

My dream has been to sell my books and screenplays. After 9 months of blogging I am no closer. By blogging three days a week, I will find the time to edit my work, send out letters to agents, market my screenplays, and write my next novel/screenplay. Thank you for all of your help. I wll be reading your posts. So you will always feel me around. Thanks

I know *pouting* I am feeling disproportionately sad about your decision and missing you already! Silly, I know, because I really want you to succeed and blogging does take up a lot of time. and you are right, more reading other posts and commenting than writing posts.

Honestly, there are poems on my blog that took me 10 or 15 minutes to write. (That is only when I am feeling my mojo). So, it isn’t the creating of posts that takes my time. I try to be a good blogger and follow and read all my followers. Not complaining, but today I woke up to 1,486 followers. Many who posts several times a day. I can’t keep up. It’s impossible for me. The three days that I will blog will be devoted to blogging and reading as many posts as possible. It is the only way I can get my writing goals back on track. Trust me, it deeply saddens me.

I know, just what you need, another needy “butterfly”, right 🙂 Of course you have to do what’s best for you and Allie. Cutting back to three days a week is all many people post anyway. When I miss you, I’ll go reread some of your posts! ❤

I understand the need to cut back blogging, as it’s easy to spend a lot of time here, and it takes away from writing. I’ve found that I needed to take time off when the day job gets hectic and my writing urgency hits. So I hope your time away is good for you.

I can so relate to this – to not having enough time to do all the things we want to do. I have reduced my blogging time and limited my posts in May to just three times a week, too. Life happens. Wishing you all the best and will look forward to your posts, as and when you get the chance. xo

When I go through my blogging day, I kept asking myself where were your notifications. I will still be here 3 days a week. But that will free me up for my writing projects and life. Thank you for your understanding words. Do you have any specific days to post? I think I will be posting Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Thanks for letting me know your schedule – I will look out for your posts. Mine is Monday, Wednesday, Friday – so far this is the schedule for May but I might maintain it beyond this month… It might be lesser, I don’t know. I’m not reading and commenting as much and it is sad… but that’s the way it is. I react to comments mostly these days. I do tweet micropoetry though, more often than I blog. Be well, Andrew.

Stay at home parent and the kid is in school. That and I don’t sleep very well most nights. Not the best method though. Honestly, I outline a lot when I can’t do full writing and the kid is pretending I’m not there. A notebook draws his attention less than the laptop. Guess it’s all about finding your time and claiming it when you can.

For me, Summer is calling to me! I worked over 90 hours (in 2weeks) at a rather warm warehouse, been there 8 years after being retired from teaching. My grandies are always wishing to do things plus, guess what? I had a first date with a younger man who seems to wish to spend more time with me. . . Yay! I am cutting back and will miss my blogging in June. I have a few things coming up but overall, I need to start living, Drew. I hope we will stay connected but I am not pursuing writing, I am chasing Life itself! 🙂 ❤ I will miss you and I hope you understood about my sporadic replies but I work more than 40 hours a week!

This extra time off has given me more time to write and more time with my Allie. I am so much happier now. I will still be around to read your work. Enjoy your new romantic friend and the grands. LIfe is too short. We need to live it. Have a good one. We will always be in touch.
