Pantomime
She loved him in loud silence
her heart cried out in quiet agony
every day that she went unnoticed
led to barren nights lost in chastity
She loved him from a distance
thought she worked by his side
they would be so perfect together
her insecurities dared not confide
She vowed to love him for eternity
her life lacked rhythm or rhyme
she would adore him in loud silence
With a heartfelt pantomime
This a reblog for anyone who may have missed it the first time and for my newer blogging friends. Still struggling with the vision. I have tried to keep up with the reading posts. WordPress still does not allow me to comment on blogs. Miss the conversations. I will reply on my blog today, if WordPress allows.
Wiahing all my friends the best. Be happy. Be well.

I love these first two lines-
“She loved him in loud silence
her heart cried out in quiet agony” –
I have felt like this on so many occasions 🙂

That unfailing loved, it is unfathomable. Sometimes we love too much, but they can’t love is in return.

Hi Andrew, I suspected there might be something going on with your vision from a few other posts of yours (playing catch up and working my way backwards). While I don’t know the particulars I hope things are improving for you.

This poem speaks volumes to my own personal experience. An unrequited love. Or a love that’s simply muffled by a lack of affirmation. Thank you for this post. Also, why aren’t you allowed to comment on other blogs?

Thank you for taking the time out to read and comment. I appreciate that.
Sorry, for the delay in my response. With my blurred vision, I cannot spend as much time blogging as I used to. I have fallen far behind in responding to comment. I would never ever dare ignore someone.
Be well and have a wonderful day.

I stayed away from email and the blog just to try to get myself together.
I just saw you sent an email. All I did for two days was wait for you
or G to post. I really wasn’t reading anyone else.
I am good. Prepared to jump on the first opporunity off the island.
I am very homesick. And although things won’t be easy in Florida
since I have to fend for myself, I am anxious to go home.
How are you?

You must have island fever – it’s meant to be an escape not a prison…honey, I feel your pain. That feeling must be overwhelming AT TIMES, but I’m sure other times you feel at peace with your situation. I’m sure it must go in waves.
I am ok, I have a lesser feeling of being trapped than you, but still, feel trapped. Craving being alone. Craving space. Craving normality. Craving writing actually, but lacking inspiration. I should trawl your blog, I’m bound to find something.

Yeah, it is overwhelming at times. Then, I remind myself what the world is going through.
While others are traspped in their homes, I am sitting under a plam tree writing and playing
with my dog.
Alone time. Wanna borrow some of mine. I have oodles. Actually, you can have it all. lol

Yes, others are going through hardships… but you are in a very difficult position too. Others don’t have a major health issue complicating and intensifying their situations.
I would like to have some of your time. I guess I don’t mean alone physically but more so alone to be with my own thoughts or in a place of my own choosing. I love my children… so much and I would never want to complain, but… it’s overwhelming sometimes.

I know.
Work, home schooling, the house, it must be very overwhelming. Don’t know how you do it. You need “me time” just to cling to your sanity
You must be so stressed

Is the a lingering affect?

Yes, it’s not as bad as it used to be, but I feel it a lot at the moment – I need ‘decompression’ time, as ridiculous as that sounds.

Doesn’t sound ridiculous at all. We all need our alone time. Sometimes that is the only way to recharge our battery
