Bond, Vaga Bond

Bond, Vaga Bond

Doctors sent me home Thursday evening. According to nurses and staff I had reached all of the items on the ready-to-go-home checklist very quickly.

Now, begins the challenging part.

There is a severe pain in my ribcage when I cough or move. Now, I will let you in on a little secret, I cough all day.

Thank you all of your thoughts and prayers. They are appreciated.

Will be gone a while.

I hope you are all doing your best to stay safe, well, and smiling.

a vagabond in love

Everyone has ocean’s to fly, if they have the heart to do it. Is it reckless? Maybe. But what do dreams know of boundaries?” – Amelia Earhart, aviation pioneer, author, the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.

a vagabond in love

i am a dreamer
a lonely beachcomber
wearing poetry on my sleeve
longing to accompany the morning sun
through the windows
of your most intimate dreams
aching to explore the lines of your palm
roam the curves of your ripped jeans
and should our paths never meet
i will always be
a vagabond in love
remembering your soul
wandering every cherished memory

these vagabond days

.

look at me

I am a vagrant

forever drunk on your words

an aimless wanderer

with no need of a compass

since mine only points to you

I am a gypsy

humming a song

as I loiter on your poetry

dreaming of a home

in the sanctuary

of your arms

sadly

these vagabond days

lead to lonely nights

of me

longing to be with you

.

It’s good to be back.  My vagabond days are over (for now).
